I have long been frustrated as an artist by the so-called wearable art that appears in exclusive shops, art fairs, etc. The stuff is often quite pretty, but wearable? I don't think so.

I've also been unhappy with the choices in keep your neck warm wearables put out by everyone from Target to big-name designers. Too fussy, too stupid, too expensive, impractical, ugly, uninspired -- I could go on.

So I started knitting my own scarves and found, to my surprise, that the painterly side of me was having a great time with the lovely colors. I made quite a few scarves for myself. Now it's time to share. Pick one from the boxes below and a new page will take you to bigger pictures, information about yarn and dimensions, price, and a PayPal button so you can have it for your own.

(What are hand knits doing on an art site, you ask? Because I make them and this is my website. So far, anyway, I make the rules here, and I want to include scarves.)
